Collection of sketchs by Jean-Pierre Martinez
Killer Sketches is a collection of short comedic sketches centred on the figure of the hitman, reimagined through an absurd, darkly comic, and deeply human lens. Each sketch features a duo (often in a closed setting around a table) and plays with the tropes of crime fiction, thrillers, and domestic comedy to offer an offbeat perspective on death, morality, relationships, society — and above all, humour.
Through twelve variations on the same theme, the collection skilfully explores the paradoxes of the hitman’s profession and what it reveals about the banality of evil, the weight of everyday life, and the small neuroses we all carry.
